Our Story.

“In late 2022, I decided to work for myself. The workload of my full-time job was motivation enough in and of itself. I was working as a 'Social Media Manager and Special Projects Manager' for a chain of convenience stores and had just started to freelance on the side. My day job encompassed about ten full-time roles—strategist, photographer, videographer, graphic designer, analytics, community management, brand reputation, etc. I was underpaid, overwhelmed, and burnt out. No shade to that company at all. I’m grateful for the skills that I developed due to the density of that role.

That level of creative output made it clear that I could start my own thing. ✔ I’m a millennial. ✔ I grew up with the internet. ✔ I have an insane amount of self-awareness. ✔ More than a decade of marketing experience. Literally, at one point in my career, I operated as a whole marketing department of one: website, email, paid Facebook, etc. I did that for 3 years until the commute from MD to DC drained my soul. It’s important to note that nothing terrible happened when they put me in charge; in fact, I was incredibly successful in that role despite having a small budget and next to no resources.

What I’m trying to say is, I was confident in my ability to start an agency. I saw the gap in the market, trusted myself, hit the ground running, and never looked back.”
